Veritas boys win second straight KCAA state title

With a strong fourth quarter, Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team won its second straight KCAA state championship Saturday in Salina, earning a 65-57 victory over Sunrise Christian.

Junior forward Tucker Flory led the Eagles (17-11) with 22 points and eight rebounds, making 9 of his 15 shots. Junior guard Trey Huslig added 17 points and senior Quinton Donohoe scored 11.
