Free State wrestlers Tate Steele and Elijah Jacobs will compete for a regional title Saturday and several Firebird wrestlers will try to qualify for the Class 6A state tournament.

Steele and Jacobs went 3-0 at 138 pounds and 145 pounds, respectively, during the first day of the Class 6A regional tournament at Wichita South. The tournament continues at 9 a.m. today.
