Bloch, diZerega lead Seabury boys past Troy

A dominant first half carried Bishop Seabury’s boys basketball team to a 74-43 road victory against Troy on Thursday.

The Seahawks (8-8) scored 49 points in the first two quarters and led by 23 points at halftime. Zach Bloch led with 20 points while Thomas diZerega had 19.

“Was nice to get Thomas back,” Seabury coach Jonathan Raney said. “He was out Tuesday with an illness. I was pleased with our zone offense tonight. I thought the ball moved and we were able to get the ball to the basket. Defensively we caused some turnovers.”
