Devin Lauts belted a solo shot in the sixth inning, but the Lawrence High baseball team’s rally fell short in a 10-6 loss to Olathe South on Tuesday.

Lauts, Austin Quick, Garrett Romero and Payton Cummins collected two hits each.

The Lions (5-8) will try to bounce back against Shawnee Mission West at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the 3&2 Baseball Complex.
