In a game with a combined 24 runs, Lawrence High’s softball team couldn’t hold off Olathe North’s powerful offense in a 14-10 loss on Wednesday at Olathe District Activity Center.

The Eagles (6-2) were boosted by a pair of home runs from Maddie Stipsits and another homer by Hannah Schmidt. Lawrence’s Sammy Williams, Sarah Cory and Chandler Guffey drove in two runs apiece.

Lawrence (4-5) will play its third game in three days against Olathe South today at ODAC.
