Veritas Christian’s baseball team scored three runs in the top of the first inning and cruised to a 9-2 victory over St. Mary’s on Tuesday at Riverside City Park.

Pitchers Jackson Rau and Tucker Flory combined for a three-hitter, striking out eight. Rau added two hits and three runs while Levi Hawkins produced three hits.

The Eagles (4-4) will travel to Wichita HomeSchool on Friday.
