KU baseball falls to Creighton

In a game that produced a combined 25 runs and 32 hits, the Kansas baseball team couldn’t keep up with Creighton in a 14-11 loss on Wednesday at TD Ameritrade Park.

The Bluejays (20-7) scored three or more runs off of KU’s first three pitchers: Conner VanCleave, Daniel Hegarty and Casey Douglas. Down 11-2 by the end of the fourth inning, the Jayhawks (19-14) slowly chipped away at their deficit but left 11 runners on base, including four in the final three frames.

Kansas will begin a three-game series against TCU at 6 p.m. Friday at Hoglund Ballpark.
