Free State High’s volleyball team cruised to straight set victories against Emporia (25-16, 25-17) and Topeka Seaman (25-11, 25-14) on Wednesday at Emporia.

Junior Rachel Hickman and sophomore Kaitlyn Hamilton paced the offense with 19 and 15 kills, respectively. Senior Cameryn Thomas recorded 14 digs and sophomore setter Mya Gleason racked up 30 assists.

The Firebirds (9-5) will play in a triangular at Shawnee Mission South at 5 p.m. tonight.
