Veritas Christian’s volleyball team posted a 3-2 record Saturday, finishing in third place at the Manhattan CHIEF tournament.

The Eagles, who have a 28-11 record, beat Manhattan CHIEF (25-20, 25-16), Lincoln Cougars (31-29, 25-15) and Kansas City East (25-15, 25-16). They lost to Omaha Lightning (25-14, 25-19) and Topeka Cornerstone (25-20, 19-25, 15-13).

Chloe Holland had 44 kills and 13 digs, Emma Wilson recorded 23 kills, 38 assists and 11 blocks, and Payton Brittingham had 10 kills and 12 digs. Veritas will play in a triangular at Maur Hill on Thursday.
