Completing its Sunflower League schedule in a triangular Thursday, Lawrence High’s volleyball team beat Shawnee Mission East (25-22, 25-20) and lost to No. 1-ranked Olathe Northwest (25-23, 25-15) at ONW.

Baylee Unruh, Abby Monroe and Sammy Williams all recorded at least eight kills, helped by setters Laura Willougby (16 assists) and Laurel Bird (15 assists). Lauren Maceli had 21 digs.

The Lions (18-7, 10-3 in league), ranked No. 7 in Class 6A, will play in the Topeka Hayden quadrangular Tuesday.
