With two games left, the Kansas football team will have to conclude its schedule without four regular contributors.

Head coach David Beaty announced Tuesday junior receivers Tyler Patrick and Jeremiah Booker, as well as freshman receiver Quan Hampton and junior cornerback Shakial Taylor have suffered season-ending injuries.

Patrick, who hurt his left leg Saturday at Texas, is scheduled to have a procedure Wednesday “to help him get back on his feet and ready to go,” Beaty said, adding Patrick, a 6-foot slot receiver from The Woodlands, Texas, is expected to make a full recovery to the undisclosed setback.

The coach revealed Booker, also injured in KU’s 42-27 loss at UT, had a procedure Tuesday morning.

Hampton, meanwhile, who started five games earlier this year after missing the previous three, is scheduled to undergo a procedure, too.

Taylor, who started the first nine games of the season before suffering an injury early in the Jayhawks’ home loss to Baylor, won’t be available the rest of the way.

Beaty, though, stated the staff anticipates having “the other ones” available Saturday against Oklahoma (2:30 p.m., ESPN). KU sophomore safety Mike Lee and junior defensive end Josh Ehambe missed the Texas loss due to injury.

Booker, a junior from College Station, Texas, and a team captain, ranks third on the team with 22 receptions, which led to 287 yards and two touchdowns. Hampton ranks fourth, with 21 catches, to go with 145 yards. Patrick has nine receptions for 111 yards.

Taylor made 22 total tackles in nine starts and broke up three passes.
