Free State senior midfielder Charlie Newsome earned first-team all-Sunflower League honors, announced this week.

Newsome led the Firebirds with 13 goals this season. Lawrence High senior defender Ben Matthews was a second-team all-league selection.

Free State seniors Nick Howard and Sam Six, along with Lawrence senior Quentin Harrington and junior Cole Shupert, earned an honorable mention.
