Lawrence High’s baseball team started fast and cruised to a 12-2 victory against Olathe North on Thursday at Olathe District Activity Center.

The Lions (7-10) posted six runs in the first two innings. Devin Lauts had four hits while Reese Carmona scored three runs and Braden Solko had two hits and two RBI.

Lawrence will face Free State in the City Showdown at 6 p.m. Monday at LHS.
