Junge wins Junction City golf tourney

Free State senior Jack Junge carded a 73 at the Junction City Invitational on Thursday, capturing an individual title by one stroke.

Junge’s first-place finish helped the Free State’s boys golf team take second, only four strokes behind champion Washburn Rural.

Free State sophomore Landon Berquist tied for eighth with a 78.
