The No. 8-ranked Baker women’s basketball team will play Mobile (Ala.) at 5 p.m. CST Wednesday in the first round of the NAIA Div. I tournament in Billings, Mont.

The Wildcats (29-4) earned a No. 2 seed in the Naismith bracket after winning the Heart of America Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles. Baker — the 2016 NAIA runner-up — is on a 16-game streak.

The Rams (22-10) won the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament to punch their ticket to the NAIA tournament.

With a win, Baker would move on to play Campbellsville (Ky.) (25-6) or Talladega (Ala.) (22-8) at 1:30 p.m. on March 17.
