Letter to the editor: Keep Channel 6
To the editor:
I am very disappointed to read that Pat McAdaragh, the president and CEO of Midco, says the news cable provider, Midco, will not keep the daily local Lawrence news when they take over in June.
It is a shame for a city the size of Lawrence. We will not be able to watch about the daily things that have taken place in Lawrence. We have always been able to watch and hear about sports on lots of the other channels.
Also the fact that 10 employees will be laid off when Midco takes over is very sad. Please change your mind and leave Lawrence Channel 6 when you take over.
