A number of swimmers from Free State and Lawrence High were named to the all-Sunflower League team for their performances at the league meet last month.

Lawrence sophomore Emily Guo, sophomore Morgan Jones and freshman Marian Frick, along with Free State junior Claire Campbell, earned first-team all-league honors.

Free State juniors Ava Cormaney and Janet Stefanov, and freshmen Kasey Dunn, Ainsley Krug and Gracie Caldwell were picked for the second team alongside Lawrence sophomore Maddie Dean.

Those receiving an honorable mention were Lawrence senior Mary Reed-Weston and sophomore Jamie Abernathy, along with Free State juniors Piper Rogers and Lydia Zicker.
