FSHS bowling teams place 2nd at Miege Invite

Free State freshman Nicole Miele bowled the highest score at the Bishop Miege Invitational, highlighting the FSHS girls’ bowling team second-place finish Saturday at Olathe Lanes East.

Miele rolled a 571 three-game series and the Firebirds only trailed champion Topeka in the 12-team tournament.

Free State’s boys bowling team also placed second, 109 pins behind Topeka West.
