A dominant second half lifted Veritas Christian’s girls basketball team to a 52-27 victory over Wichita Classical on Friday in the KCAA state tournament’s final pool play game at Haskell Indian Nations University.

“Full-court pressure was the difference in the game,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said.

The Eagles (15-8) will face Derby Invasion in the third-place game at 2:30 p.m. today.
