Kansas freshman infielder James Cosentino drilled a three-run home run for his first collegiate hit, helping the Jayhawks to a 7-5 road victory in their season-opener against The Citadel.

Costentino’s home run was a part of KU’s six-run fifth inning, which included a two-run homer by sophomore David Kyriacou.
