Veritas Christian’s girls basketball team trailed by 12 points after the first quarter and couldn’t catch up to Wichita Home School in a 55-42 road loss Tuesday.

Tori Huslig and Chloe Holland scored 15 points each for the Eagles, while Alyssa Krestan added 12.

Veritas (13-6) will play host to Marais des Cygnes Valley on Friday for Senior Night.
