Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team erased a slow start in a 71-65 victory over Grandview Christian on Tuesday at Haskell Indian Nations University.

Tucker Flory led the Eagles (2-0) with 23 points, while Kammal Dowdell added 12 points and eight rebounds. Trey Huslig had 13 points.

Veritas will travel to St. Mary’s at 2 p.m. Saturday.
