Facing plenty of height, Bishop Seabury’s boys basketball team couldn’t keep up with Shawnee Mission East in a 70-34 loss Tuesday in the first round of the Championship Showdown at SM East.

The Seahawks (1-1) will face Barstow (Mo.) at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Seabury’s first-year coach Jonathan Raney spent the last three seasons as an assistant at Barstow.
