Tucker Flory scored 22 points and Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team cruised to a 63-36 victory over Heritage Christian in its season opener Friday in Olathe.

The Eagles (1-0) snagged 17 steals, including five from Flory, to help their offense. Kammal Dowdell added 14 points while Kyle Weinhold scored eight.
