LHS girls tennis 2-1 at O-West quad

Lawrence High senior Chisato Kimura won all three of her matches at No. 1 singles and helped the girls tennis team to a 2-1 record at the Olathe West quadrangular Thursday.

At No. 1 doubles, Mia Waters and Chloe Thornton won two of their matches, suffering a loss to the top doubles pairing from Shawnee Mission West. As a team, Lawrence swept Olathe West and beat Leavenworth.

The Lions will play in the Leavenworth quad on Aug. 31.
