Lawrence High sophomore Evann Seratte won in the 400-meters, 800 and 4×400 relay, helping Lawrence’s girls track and field team place third at the Topeka Seaman Relays on Friday.

The LHS girls picked up runner-up finishes from Lexi Anglin (javelin) and Josie Hickerson (pole vault). Lawrence’s boys track team tied for 11th with top-three placings from Dante Jackson (long jump) and Hunter Krom (javelin).

Free State’s girls track and field team was seventh. Emily Venters won in the 1,600 meters and Cameryn Thomas was first in the long jump.

The FSHS boys tied for 14th. Tyler Winsor was fourth in the javelin.
