Doubles pairing goes unbeaten at LHS tennis quad

Lawrence High’s doubles pairing of Sam Allen and Kanak Masten went undefeated Wednesday in a home quadrangular, helping the Lions to a 2-0-1 record.

Allen and Masten won all three of their matches at No. 1 doubles, only dropping a combined six games.

No. 1 doubles, Sam Allen/Kanak Maste def. King/Washington, Junction City, 8-1; def. Skrzypek/Lee, Topeka, 8-3; def. Keller/Waltrip, Olathe South, 8-2.
