Veritas Christian’s baseball team couldn’t keep up with Kansas City (Kan.) Christian’s offense in a 10-6 loss Monday at 3&2 Field in Shawnee.

The Eagles tried to rally in the top of the fifth inning, scoring two runs on a double from sophomore Tucker Flory and a single from Rondre Diederich.

But KCC scored three runs in the bottom half of the inning, and the Eagles (4-2) didn’t have enough time to recover.
