Free State High junior Will Cook shot a 79, tying for 14th place at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational on Monday afternoon at Kansas City Country Club.

The FSHS boys golf team took 13th in the team standings with 343 strokes. Sophomore Landon Berquist followed Cook in 33rd place with an 83.

Lawrence High’s boys golf team finished 16th, led by seniors Cole Brungardt and Garrett Wildeman, who both shot an 87.
