Free State senior distance runner Kiran Cordes won the 3,200 meters at the Blue Valley Relays on Friday, lifting the FSHS girls track and field team to fourth place.

Cordes won her race in 11:19.05. Cameryn Thomas was runner-up in the long jump and Auna Childress took second in the triple jump.

Free State’s boys track and field team placed 12th.
