At No. 1 doubles, Lawrence High senior Natalie Cote and junior Chloe Thornton went undefeated at Monday’s LHS quadrangular at Rock Chalk Park, winning all three of their matches.

Led by their top doubles team, the Lions posted a 1-2 record in the quad, sweeping Topeka High with victories from Nina Givotovsky and Chisato Kimura in singles and Mia Waters/Caitlynn Kliem in doubles.

As a team, the Lions lost 3-1 in matches against St. James Academy and Washburn Rural.

Lawrence will return to the court to play in the Topeka tournament at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
