Lawrence High’s graduation ceremony has been moved inside, to Allen Fieldhouse on the Kansas University campus, the school announced Wednesday morning.

The ceremony, which had been set for the LHS stadium, will still begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday. School officials said chances for evening thunderstorms prompted the change.

Entrances at Allen Fieldhouse will open at 5 p.m. Free parking will be available in Lot 90 on the east side of Naismith Drive. Paid parking is also available in the garage north of Allen Fieldhouse.

Several handicapped parking spots are available south of Allen Fieldhouse. Golf carts will be available to transport individuals who need assistance from the parking lot to Allen Fieldhouse. Accessible seating will be on the south side of the fieldhouse.
