A Lawrence-based media company has created a new partnership to publish its Topeka magazine.

Lawrence-based Sunflower Publishing has reached a deal for Peterson Publications to serve as the advertising representative for Topeka Magazine.

Sunflower Publishing is a division of The World Company, which owns the Journal-World and LJWorld.com.

Topeka-based Peterson Publications has worked on the Topeka Visitors Guide for the past 20 years and has been the publisher of the Topeka Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory and Relocation Guide for more than 10 years. It also produces several association magazines for national and international clients.

Topeka Magazine is a quarterly lifestyle and city magazine. Sunflower Publishing also publishes Lawrence Magazine, Manhattan Magazine and several other publications. Nathan Pettengill will remain editor of Topeka Magazine.
