Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing another man at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

At 7:43 p.m. officers received a report of an armed robbery in the 1300 block of Ohio Street, said Lawrence Police Sgt. Amy Rhoads.

That evening a resident of the home invited two men, one of whom is known to him, inside to “hang out,” Rhoads said. While inside, the two visitors allegedly “brandished a firearm and demanded items.”

No injuries were reported and the incident is currently under investigation.

Rhoads could not say what was stolen from the home because the incident is still under investigation. She also could not provide further identifying information on the suspects.

Police believe the robbery to be an isolated incident, Rhoads said.
