Overland Park — In a defensive battle, Free State High’s girls soccer team fell, 1-0, against Shawnee Mission East on Tuesday at Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.

The Firebirds (4-6-1) will play host to Olathe South at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
