Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s Cole Brungardt shot an 80 for second place, and the Lions’ boys golf team placed third in the 10-team Shawnee Mission South Invitational on Wednesday at Deer Creek Golf Club.

Free State finished fourth in the team standings. The Firebirds were led by Jack Junge, who shot an 83 and tied for eighth.

The Lions’ Dawson Dykes fired an 82 and tied for fifth.
