The Douglas County Commission will meet Wednesday with a limited agenda that includes awarding a bid for a road project.

The project to be let is the asphalt rehabilitation of County Routes 1W and 1S at Lone Star Lake Park. Work on the roads is to be completed before Memorial Day and the lake’s summer season, Douglas County Public Works director Keith Browning wrote in a memo to the County Commission. The county’s capital improvement project fund has $450,000 earmarked for the work.

The Douglas County Commission meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the second-floor meeting room of the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Massachusetts St. Complete agendas can be viewed at douglascountyks.org.
