KU Crime Blotter: Week of March 7 through March 13

The following incidents were reported to the Kansas University Office of Public Safety between Monday, March 7, and Sunday, March 13. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported.

March 13

• Someone damaged a vehicle window and took items from inside March 13 in Lot 300, 1600 block of Stewart Drive. Damage was estimated at $500. Loss was valued at $75.

• Someone damaged a vehicle window and took items from inside March 13 in Lot 300, 1600 block of Stewart Drive. Damage was estimated at $500. Loss was valued at $5.

March 11

• Someone damaged a window by cutting the glass at Chalmers Hall, between March 10 and March 11. Damage was estimated at $150.

• Police found multiple people in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a fake ID card about 2:40 a.m. March 11 in Lot 112, 1800 block of Naismith Drive. At least one was arrested.

• Police found a person in possession of drug paraphernalia, a grinder, about 8:20 p.m. March 11 at Jayhawker Towers apartments, Tower D. The person was arrested.

• Police found someone in a car with marijuana and drug paraphernalia about 12:30 a.m. March 11 in Lot 50, 1100 block of JRP Drive. The person was arrested.

March 10

• Someone stole a license plate from a vehicle March 10 in Lot 61, 1000 block of Sunnyside Avenue. Loss was valued at $45.

March 7

• Somebody spray-painted graffiti on a circuit box at Budig Hall, sometime between March 4 and March 7. Damage was estimated at $150.

• Someone stole an iPad and other items from a locker March 7 at the Lied Center. Loss was valued at $675.

• Someone stole a backpack with a wallet and electronics inside March 7 at Robinson Center. Loss was valued at $650.

• Someone damaged a vehicle window and took items from inside March 13 in Lot 300, 1600 block of Stewart Drive. Damage was estimated at $500. Loss was valued at $5.

• Police found someone in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, a pipe, about 10:10 p.m. March 6 at Oliver Hall. The person was arrested.
