Vocalist Ada Hyde, 11, belts out the lyrics to the Girls Rock Anthem as Macie Orr, 13, plays guitar during the Girls Rock Lawrence camp, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Saint John's Catholic School. Both girls are performing with the band Candle Stick during the weeklong camp, which seeks to empower girls through musical collaboration and performance. The camp also aims among other things, to expunge the stigma that girls are weak. To view a video from the camp, please visit ljworld.com/girlsrock2015

The second annual Girls Rock! Lawrence camp will host a talent showcase of young musicians Saturday at Liberty Hall, 644 Massachusetts St.

Slated for 7 p.m., the event will feature original music written and performed by campers from this year’s Girls Rock! camp. The camp, which wrapped its five-day run at the Lied Center on Friday, aims to empower girls, female-identifying and gender-nonconforming youths through music and creative expression.

Tickets for Saturday’s showcase cost $10 for ages 16 and up and $5 for ages 15 and under. They can be purchased at the door, at the Liberty Hall box office or via Ticketmaster. Children 2 and under get in free. Doors open at 6 p.m., while the show itself starts at 7 p.m.
