Severe thunderstorm warning for Douglas County allowed to expire
A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for Douglas County until 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. That warning has been allowed to expire.
The National Weather Service in Topeka issued the warning in response to a line of storms extending from Denison to near Richland.
High winds, gusting up to 70 mph, and nickel-size hail were possible with the storms, the weather service warned.
