Veritas boys drop a pair
McLouth — Veritas Christian School’s boys basketball team was swept in a two-city twi-night doubleheader on Friday.
After suffering a 61-53 loss to Osawatomie in the seventh-place game of the Spring Hill tournament earlier, the Eagles lost to Riverside, 73-65, on Friday night at the McLouth tournament.
Miles Dressler led Veritas with 25 points in the loss to Riverside.
Trey Huslig had 15, and Chad Stieben added 13.
Veritas fell to 8-9.
The Eagles will play Kansas City Christian at 2 p.m. today for third place in the McLouth tournament.
