Seabury boys, Veritas girls win

Boys

Zach McDermott scored 22 points and Thomas Uhler and Bansi King each added 11, as Bishop Seabury defeated Veritas Christian, 66-56, in high school boys basketball Friday night at Seabury.

Chad Stieben scored 17 points and Trey Huslig added 10 for Veritas.

Seabury (13-3) will face Olathe Heritage Christian on Tuesday.

Regan Zaremba scored 33 points for Seabury, and Celia Taylor-Puckett scored 13.

Seabury (5-9) will play Tuesday against Olathe Heritage Christian.
