KU swimmers shine at ISU

? Kansas University won all but one event in the pool during the first day of a two-day college swimming and diving dual with Iowa State on Friday.

KU finished the day with 90.5 points to ISU’s 59.5.

Kansas’ individual winners: Libby Walker, 1,000-yard freestyle, 10:17.95; Madison Straight, 200 free, 1:52.24; Pia Pavlic, 100 back, 56.22; Walker, 200 fly, 2:04.03; and Haley Bishop, 50 free, 23.22.

KU also won the 200-meter relay, with Yulduz Kuchkarova, Bryce Hinde, Pavlic and Bishop, in 1:43.96.

The meet concludes today.
