Woman, 21, robbed at knifepoint on West Sixth Street
A 21-year-old woman reported that she was robbed at knifepoint near an apartment complex on West Sixth Street, Lawrence Police said early Tuesday.
Around 10:30 p.m. Monday, the woman reported that she had been robbed of an undetermined amount of cash by a man who displayed a knife, said Sgt. Ted Bordman with the Lawrence Police Department. Another man was also involved in the incident, which occurred near Trailridge Apartments, at 2500 W. Sixth St.
Bordman said the woman was not injured.
No arrests have been made and no suspects have been positively identified, Bordman said. He also said alcohol didn’t appear to be involved in the incident.
