• Leavenworth JV wrestling tournament, featuring Lawrence High JV wrestlers, has been canceled.

• Eudora Parks and Recreation Pancakes with Santa has been canceled.

• All classes for the Academy of Tai Qi.

• Lawrence Gymnastics Academy Parents Night Out canceled.

• Point B Dance’s “Land of the Sweets” is canceled for 7 p.m. Saturday; the 5 p.m. showing on Sunday will start at 5:15 p.m.

Closings and cancellations for Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016:

• Morning Star Church’s 9 a.m. Sunday service is canceled. There will be an 11 a.m. Sunday service.

• West Side Presbyterian Church’s Sunday service is canceled.

• New Hope Fellowship is postponing its 10:15 a.m. Sunday service. The service will instead start at 11 a.m. Sunday.

• The Lawrence Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will not have any meetings Sunday.

• Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church Lawrence morning and evening services canceled.
