Belo Horizonte, Brazil ? Former University of Kansas soccer players Liana Salazar and Ingrid Vidal played significant roles in Colombia’s second Olympic match Saturday, a 1-0 loss to New Zealand.

Salazar started for the second straight match, and Vidal came off the bench and played the final 11 minutes.

Colombia will face the United States at 6 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday.
