Topeka ? Free State High’s boys golf team finished 13th among 14 teams at the Washburn Rural Invitational on Thursday at Wamego Country Club.

The Firebirds were led by Carson Ziegler, who shot a 93 for 34th place.

Shawnee Mission East won the team title with 336 strokes and Washburn Rural’s Lukas McCalla won by carding a 78.

Free State shot a team total of 387.
