KU Crime Blotter: Week of March 28 through April 3

The following incidents were reported to the Kansas University Office of Public Safety between Monday, March 28, and Sunday, April 3. Incidents are listed by the dates they were reported.

April 2

• Trespassing occurred about 6:55 a.m. April 2 at Lippincott Hall. Multiple people climbed the fire escape and accessed the roof of the building.

• Someone entered a dorm room and damaged a locked box to steal prescription medication between April 1 and April 2 at Templin Hall. Loss was valued at $120.

March 31

• Someone broke a window and stole a car March 31 from Lot 400, 1500 block of Iowa Street. Loss was valued at $8,260.

• Someone broke the window of a vehicle and stole items from inside March 31 in Lot 400. Loss was valued at $31. Damage was estimated at $500.

• Someone broke a car’s window and trim while attempting to enter it March 31 in Lot 104, 1700 block of Engel Road. Damage was estimated at $450.

• Someone entered an unlocked vehicle, took items and damaged the stereo March 30 or March 31 in Lot 104. Loss was valued at $615. Damage was estimated at $500.

March 30

• After being given consent to search, police found someone in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia about 10:15 p.m. March 30 at Self Hall. The person was arrested.
