Olathe ? Free State High’s volleyball team split its two matches at the Olathe East triangular on Tuesday, beating Olathe South (25-17, 20-25, 25-21) and losing to Olathe East (25-20, 25-18).

Payton Gannaway led the Firebirds (15-10) with 12 kills, while Rachel Hickman added nine kills and Naomi Hickman had eight. Allie Knapp recorded a team-high 23 digs and Jenalee Dickson had 21 assists.

Free State will host a triangular on Oct. 8.
