Emporia ? Lawrence High’s girls tennis team placed fifth in the Emporia tournament on Saturday.

Competing for the Lions were Erin Ventura at No. 1 singles, Payton Smith at No. 2 singles, Madison Mask and Natalie Cote at No. 1 doubles and Emma Levy and Lauren Schulteis at No. 2 doubles.
